Wilde Rose Farm Bees at Bowers Farm; September 12th, 10AM-11:30AM.
Join us for a 90 minute introduction to beekeeping and honey production. Students will learn about beekeeping through hands on time with a beekeepers tools, stories, crafts, and time observing an observation hive.
We will learn key beekeeping vocabulary, create bee themed art, and sample our raw, local Wilde Rose Farm honey.
Students will be able to observe bees inside a glass observation hive but will not be in the bee yard.
